I read ,and loved cat in the hat when i was younger。 I like how the cat in the hat was used to teach about dinosaurs,i also love how they broke down the dinosaurs names to help say them, because lets be honest some of them are hard to say。the drawings was well done。

Little Man loves this because it is the intersection of two of his favorite things: dinosaurs and Cat in the Hat, but DANG this rhyming is terrible。 Doesn’t deserve the Dr。 Seuss name。

If you are learning about Dinosaurs with your little ones, this is a fun, rhyming and informative book to supplement the more formal conversations you are having。 My 5 year old loves Dinosaurs and can read books at a much higher level。 But, to keep my 3 year old engaged, I have to sprinkle books like these into our reading selections。

An insult to Seuss。 Also a fairly poor dino book。

This book really surprised me。 I had never read a faux-Dr。 Seuss book before that was informational not just silly。 However, I appreciated that while the book had nonfiction components, it was rhyming and upbeat。 The book not only talked about many kinds of dinosaurs, what they looked like, but also how to pronounce their names。 This was an important part of the book because a student who was reading this book by themselves would still be able to attempt to sound out the names of the dinosaurs。 This book really surprised me。 I had never read a faux-Dr。 Seuss book before that was informational not just silly。 However, I appreciated that while the book had nonfiction components, it was rhyming and upbeat。 The book not only talked about many kinds of dinosaurs, what they looked like, but also how to pronounce their names。 This was an important part of the book because a student who was reading this book by themselves would still be able to attempt to sound out the names of the dinosaurs。 I love when a book takes a topic kids are interested in and presents the information in an engaging way。 In my classroom I would use this book to talk about dinosaurs, nonfiction books, rhyming, or how authors can write books that are similar but have different components。 I might even read this book in addition to another Dr。 Seuss book and have them compare the two。 I hope to add this book to my Dr。 Seuss collection soon。 。。。more

This book originated from a Dr。 Seuss book so it has very similar aspects! It’s a really cute book that teaches about fossils, dinosaurs, and how to pronounce their names。 It might be a good intro to a science lesson, as it briefly discusses how fossils are made!

Cat in the Hat runs through everything a kid needs to know about dinosaurs。 Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, but now we can put them back together by their bones。 The book goes through many dinosaurs names, breaks down how to say them, and gives details about the type of dinosaur。 I like this educational book about dinosaurs, and learns some information on different types of dinosaurs。 It is an easy read for children, and I am sure they would enjoy hearing about dinosaurs。 I really loved t Cat in the Hat runs through everything a kid needs to know about dinosaurs。 Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, but now we can put them back together by their bones。 The book goes through many dinosaurs names, breaks down how to say them, and gives details about the type of dinosaur。 I like this educational book about dinosaurs, and learns some information on different types of dinosaurs。 It is an easy read for children, and I am sure they would enjoy hearing about dinosaurs。 I really loved the colorful drawings on each page。 I would use this in my classroom to talk about syllables。 Dinosaur names are usually very hard to pronounce, and this book breaks the words up。 It breaks up Ankylosaurus into Ang-kih-luh-saw-rus。 I would talk about the method of clapping for each syllable or putting you hand under your chin to know how many syllables are in a word。 。。。more

Bonnie and the Cat return in another learning book from the Dr Seuss stable and this time it is about that subject studied by professional old men and three year old boys - dinosaurs。 Anyway another nice little book from this series。

I loved this one! I adored dinosaurs growing up and still maintain a fascination with them as an adult so this was fun to read with the kids! My toddler asked for it twice so safe to say he's a dino kid! I loved this one! A fun book about dinosaurs written in faux-Seuss, and featuring the Cat in the Hat。Good info for kids interested in dinosaurs (and what kid isn't?), but the writing just isn't up to the standard Seuss set。 A fun book about dinosaurs written in faux-Seuss, and featuring the Cat in the Hat。Good info for kids interested in dinosaurs (and what kid isn't?), but the writing just isn't up to the standard Seuss set。 。。。more

Wonderful book about how to say dinosaur names and about them。 This shows in a nice way of the descriptions of the dinosaurs and all about them。 It made it easy to say the different names of them and how long ago they lived。

I am aware of the PBS television show based off of Dr。 Seuss' Cat in the Hat titled, "The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That," where The Cat in the Hat teaches Dick and Sally (who he famously visited in his original tale) and the viewers about all different kinds of things。 On this visit, he takes Dick and Sally to a museum to teach them about all different kinds of dinosaurs。 I must actually say that this was quite informative and I especially admired how there is a complete pronunciation of I am aware of the PBS television show based off of Dr。 Seuss' Cat in the Hat titled, "The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That," where The Cat in the Hat teaches Dick and Sally (who he famously visited in his original tale) and the viewers about all different kinds of things。 On this visit, he takes Dick and Sally to a museum to teach them about all different kinds of dinosaurs。 I must actually say that this was quite informative and I especially admired how there is a complete pronunciation of each of the dinosaurs and how it is sounded out so that its target audience, and even adults that are reading the text, know how to say the different kinds of dinosaurs。 There is enough information for the reader to get an idea of the featured dinosaurs and the signature, zany humor that comes with a work written in Dr。 Seuss' world。 。。。more
